Blogiversary Two and Spilling Big Beans

It’s a (belated) Blogiversary like no other! As we celebrate two years of This Natural Dream, Ryan and I are realizing more than ever that the best is truly yet to come, both for our beloved blog and for our personal lives.

As mentioned in our New Year’s post, we ended the year dreaming of buying a few acres of our own to move this blossoming homestead to. But before we knew it, another big dream of ours was taking flight. This year started with squeals and big bear hugs when Ryan and I found out that we were going to be parents! Flannels on the clothesline were the perfect way for us to spread the joyous news.

We had dreamed of this moment for years. Now in my 14th week of pregnancy, it still seems surreal to say that I am pregnant. This growing bump is the constant reminder that it’s really happening. After a year of prayers and faith, this blessing has come to us. Ryan and I couldn’t be more over the moon. Hearing our baby’s heartbeat for the first time yesterday was just the cherry on top of it all. Tears were flowing.

Though we are going to have more and more going on in life, we will continue to share our lives and homestead with you guys. There’s just going to be a new tab or two in the menu bar for natural pregnancy remedies, DIY, etc. and eventually a baby tab filled with all our organic ways for baby. Needless to say, the homesteading/natural living dorks in us have been waiting for this moment to expand our expertise.

We don’t know you all, but we love you and love connecting with you. Our third year of blogging is going to be a wild and crazy ride. I’m bursting at the seams to share it all with you guys. Stick with us as we take on new ventures in the garden, kitchen, and (gulp) parenthood. Cheers to the unknown and an exciting year ahead for TND.

Congratulations! So excited for you and can’t wait to see what you blog about this year! I’ve learned so much since discovering you last spring and felt slightly reassured that I’m not the only crazy person into this lifestyle here in Georgia!
