It’s Valentine’s Day, a national day of love, and all we really want to do around her is show you guys mad love and appreciation. It’s how we roll.
Without you all, this whole blogging thing would be a lot less fun. I know we have said it before, but seriously, every time you all chime in it, I melt a little.
When someone throws us a shout out on social media… I swear I could cry. Are you starting to catch on to how big of a sap I am? Due to our lack of Twitter skills, I’m not sure we adequately thanked Grow! Young Farmers for the love they sent our way, but it definitely brightened our day. (You can check their blog out here.)
Our hearts are only bursting in one other way today…. We have someone we’d like you to meet!
We adopted this sweet face today. She is a year old lab retriever mix, with the best personality. We are eating her up. Even Kearney is coming around allowing noses to touch and all. From the moment we walked through the door with her, she let him call the shots.
We even managed to get them together for our first family selfie with the new member. Well, sort of.
We have walked the property and played in the backyard which has been begging for such activity in it.
These piles were just waiting for her to arrive. Hard work being destroyed never made me smile so big.
She has had a bath and even got to use Kearney’s chemical free wash with thieves oil. We have been telling her (the dog) we are pretty granola around here, so not to get used to her old snacks. We will ease her in slowly.
The only thing left to do is name her. We are open to suggestions, as we are having a time of it trying to put a name to that face. Rosie? Lucy? Maggie? We just keep going round and round.
Needless to say, you will be seeing a lot more of this little lady around these parts.
Psst– You can find out more about her adoption process and what we named here.
